Storyboard:

At the end of the video there will be the close up of the poster which tells viewers the march the date and the timings of the march and movie marathon.

Medium:
The style of animation I have chosen to use is the stop motion, this type of animation helps to bring objects to life by taking individual shots if the characters and making the characters move. In my animation I will be using stop motion stick characters and I will take pictures of each tiny movement they make in order to make the illusion that the object is moving. This method of animation is used in adverts and TV shows and engages a wide range of audiences. For my animation I will use this to engage an older audience from young adults and older, while also making my animation exciting to promote the BrainGoo March. The advert will include positioning and repositioning of my characters as they move through the advert. There are different file types one example is a smartphone, which needs an MP4 but might be Lowe quality but need less storage. However a computer needs a larger amount of storage as its a larger file type.
Synopsis:
Frank the zombie awakes from his grave and sees a poster for the BrainGoo March in Leicester Square he travels through the London Underground and makes he way to Leicester Square when he gets there he sees other zombies at the march and eats food from the food trucks and sees the movie marathon. After the poster shows up big on the screen to show viewers the details.
Target Audience:
The target audience for my animation is young adults from 18 onwards who are horror movie enthusiasts this is due to the genre being horror and focusing on zombies. I will be promoting a march that is taking place in central London at Leicester square and therefore needs to reach an older audience as it's not suitable for younger children. So my targeted age will be between 18 - 30 year olds who love the horror genre and as it states in the brief to be targeted at dedicated horror enthusiasts who are adults. I will appeal to both female and male zombie enthusiasts even though my main character is a man there will be other people in the background who are different genders as well as races. The animation will appeal to all races and ethnicities as it doesn't display a real one as my character is green and made up. There isn't a targeted class as it is appealing zombie lovers and all characters will have access to the same food trucks cinema and live music so not one group will be targeted.
Purpose:
There are many purposes of my animation that I will be creating about the BrainGoo UK ZombieFest March. One purpose of my animation is to inform, I will be able to inform my audience via a laptop or smartphone about the upcoming march in Leicester Square and as I will be creating the animation I will be able to alert Zombie enthusiasts as it is something that interests them. Another purpose of my animation is to promote and advertise the upcoming march by having themed zombie as my main character and making it well known to people who love horror genre. For my animation I'll use one main character which will help to promote the march as it links directly to the genre this way I will be able to gain popularity and reach a larger audience that want to engage with the advert. Another purpose of my animation is to entertain, this will be done through showing the viewers what the march will include such as food trucks and movie marathon as this will help to intrigue the audience with things they like.

Equipment and Personnel:
Project Manager - They overlook all of the tasks that need to be done and completed and help to finish the tasks and finalise decisions. They are also responsible for managing the crew and resources and setting deadlines to ensure that animation runs smoothly. In my stop motion animation they will create a swot analysis of the animation in order to make sure it's completed.
Director - They overlook the stop motion that will be created and make sure that it is being done efficiently and meeting the deadlines. They will need to ensure that the demands of the brief are met and work with the project manager and ensure the work is completed to a high standard.
Voice Actors - They will have their voices recorded as in my animation Fonk will make sound effects to link to the common zombie theme such as groans. The voices will also give information at the end of the information of the poster about the BrainGoo zombie fest march. The voice actors are used to entertain the audience and engage to make advert more realistic.
Editor - They will decide how long each shot type should last and the type of movement and transition it needs for each scene, they will also help plan the layout of each scene and ensure the scenes look uniform and run smoothly. This will help to create an engaging animation that will intrigue audiences.
Final Cut Pro - This is an editing app in order to make high quality videos, this is important in producing my animation as it will help the editor to create a moving stop motion animation. The app allows all the editor to all of the stop motion pictures and the transitions as well as the voice overs which can all be joined together.
Laptop - This is one of the most important pieces of equipment as I will need it throughout the whole production of my animation. This device allows Final Cut Pro to be added as well as easy access to search engines to help to create a high quality stop motion animation. This will be useful for my editor and I can share work on this device too in order to make sure stick to the deadlines.
Camera - I will also need a camera, this piece of equipment is where I shall be taking all of the photos of my stop motion animation on. It is necessary to use a high quality camera as it will capture the animations movement and facial expressions and follow Fronk. The camera will take all the photos on an SD which I can then turn into the animation video after.
Character - The character I will be using in the animation are stick figure stop motion animation character, I will use this as it sticks to the stop motion animation type and also fits within the zombie animation theme. The character is green and therefore portrays an engaging story.
Microphone - This will be used in order to capture and record the voice actors for my animation, I will use a microphone so it cancels out any fuzzy sounds and make sure the audio is clear and easy to be heard and listened to.
2D and 3D backplates:
I will be using 2D backgrounds as it is clear and easy to use I will print them out and stick them on my green screen to make them more realistic.

Strengths:
There are many strength in my animation. One strength to my animation is that it is stop motion, this type of animation celebrates bringing inanimate objects to life by taking pictures of every small and detailed movement which in the final edit will give the illusion that the object is moving. Another strength to the animation is that the style perfectly engages my target audience of adults roughly aged 18-30 year olds who are horror zombie enthusiasts, also another strength to the animation is that it appeals to a wide range of genders, races, ages, classes and ethnicities this is due to the fact that my characters are made up races and doesn't target a particular audience. Also the march is in Central London in Leicester Square this is a strength a tourists from different who are just out in London will be able to join in the march and reach different nationalities.
Weaknesses:
On the other hand there are some weaknesses to stop motion animation, one weakness of this is that it requires the producer of the animation to be very detailed and as a result is very time consuming. It takes a very long time to take a picture of every single precise movement in which the characters take and if even one shot is missed it messes up the whole animation and will need to be redone. Another weakness is that the target audience is young adults and it is an advert and in this day and age this audience tend to switch off on adverts and therefore the information may not reach the intended target audience. The advert may also be put on TV and as a result the content needs to be not too graphic so it can be seen by all ages that may watch the channel and as a result may not engage an older audience due to the effects being subtle.
Opportunities:
One opportunity that could come from the advert is that the advert blows up and becomes popular and lots of people could watch the advert. This then could cause a lot of people to attend the march and then as a result the company could expand and could create more opportunities for more marches to happen as well as creating longer formed content such as spin off TV shows and comics using the main character Fronk. The spinoff creates a way for people to watch their favourite genre at the comfort of their own homes, also they could create merchandise for loyal fans to buy and find people with common interests. Another opportunity is for the company to use the main character and turn it into a horror zombie video game which could be graphic for a young adult target audience.
Threats:
One threat that BrainGoo could face is the fact that competitors and big brand company and film creators. For example big well known companies such as Aardman Animations who made Wallace and Gromit stop motion could see that your animation is doing well and try and create a better version of the zombie horror content. This is due to the fact that they already have a massive fanbase and as a result would be able to become more popular then BrainGoo. Another threat that BrainGoo could face is legal issues such as copyright this means that all content created needs to be copyrighted so that no work or characters can be stolen.
